Greek Hero XTRI 2027 – An XTRI World Tour Race

Greek Hero is an extreme triathlon for athletes who want to exceed their limits. The weather in October on Corfu can be quite unpredictable and the unique topography of the island makes the race extremely challenging. Temperatures may range from 0 to 32 degrees Celsius on race day.

Greek Hero XTRI was created in homage to Odysseus, the legendary Greek King and Hero of the Trojan War. After conquering Troy and enduring 10 years of struggle in the sea to return to his home, Odysseus was cast ashore at Mon Repo. There he was found by Nafsika, the King’s beautiful daughter. She took good care of him but one day she suddenly disappeared! Frantically trying to find her Odysseus swam quickly through the waves of the Ionian Sea to the secret gate of the Old Fortress. There he found a horse in the stables and rode furiously around the entire island, but he could not locate his love. Soon he met Artemis, the Goddess of Hunting and Wilderness, who advised him to leave his horse continue North through the beaches and olive woods until he finds The Angel’s Castle, atop the highest peak.

After many hours of running, he arrived to the Castle where he finally found Nafsika and saved her from her kidnappers. Are you as fit and brave and versatile as Odysseus?
